Joanne, known previously for violent behaviours, orchestrated this shocking incident. Tensions escalated in August 2024 after a party scuffle where Maxwell made threats against Scott. Her son, released from prison just weeks before, followed her lead when family tensions ignited on June 21, 2025. Liam Donlin, angered and armed, attacked Scott at his home with tragic consequences, with Amie capturing the scene on her mobile.
Their chilling plot fell apart as details surfaced during their trial, revealing that the attack began because of unresolved anger and manipulation. Allegations were supported by messages and witness accounts showing Maxwell’s persistent threats against Scott. The prosecution described Maxwell as the mastermind, steering her children into this violent act. Despite the defence’s efforts, the jury reached a swift verdict, finding all three guilty. They will face sentencing in March.
