Tragedy in South Wales: Two lives have tragically been lost following a devastating explosion in Nelson near Caerphilly. The incident took place on Friday evening, around 6.10pm, within the garden of a property on Heol Fawr. Emergency services rushed to the scene, but sadly, both individuals were pronounced dead upon their arrival.
As a safety measure, local residents were advised to keep their doors and windows shut. Roads in the area are closed, with diversions in place, so do plan an alternative route if you’re travelling nearby. Specialist fire crews are still at the site as they conduct a structural assessment of the damaged property.
