🚨 Tragic crash near Wales-England border claims a life 🚨
In a heartbreaking incident, a 24-year-old woman died after a van crash on the A534 near Farndon. The vehicle, a white Ford Transit, overturned off the road early Saturday morning. 💔
Cheshire Police reported receiving calls about the collision around 5:50am. Emergency services responded quickly, including three teams from Cheshire Fire and Rescue, who worked hard to rescue the woman. Despite their efforts, she sadly passed away at the scene. 😢
Two men, aged 27 and 21, were also in the van during the crash. They were taken to hospital for checks and have since been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
The A534 was closed in both directions for around five hours as investigations took place. Police are keen to speak with witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage to help piece together what happened. 👮♀️👀
