Thanks to the quick action of his mates Travis and George, Ansel was pulled from the water and brought back with CPR. From there, it was a fight for survival. Rushed to hospital, his neck was broken, and emergency surgery was needed to repair his spine.
Doctors gave Ansel just a 2% chance of walking again. But with relentless determination and therapy, he defied those odds! After months of hard work, Ansel walked his daughter Presley down the aisle in November 2024, a moment he could only dream of when he was paralysed.
