It looks like a new drive-thru McDonald’s could be on the horizon! Plans are in the works for a potential new spot at Penygarnddu Business Park. With the site currently lying empty, this development could bring a fresh lease of life to the area, as well as around 110 full-time and part-time jobs. 🙌
Situated conveniently next to Lidl, and just across from Comfortzone Merthyr, this McDonald’s will be easy to access. Whether you’re popping in by car, foot, or bike, they’ve got you covered with 32 parking spaces, pedestrian and cycle access, and a bus stop nearby too. 🚶♂️🚴♀️🚌
On top of that, the plans include six dedicated cycle spaces and a new cycle path. Plus, a smart internal queuing system will keep the cars flowing, making your drive-thru experience smooth and easy.
But it’s not just about convenience! McDonald’s is bringing in some fab environmental touches, like recycling and waste facilities to keep our community tidy, along with landscaping and new trees to spruce up the neighbourhood. 🌿🌳
Located just off the Heads of the Valley Road, the proposed site is perfectly positioned for a quick pit stop. Residents of Pant will find it a breeze to visit, thanks to well-trodden footpaths and reliable bus connections linking the industrial estate with surrounding areas.
