Thom Evans, the former Scotland rugby sensation, is living proof that life can take unexpected yet exciting turns! Evans was on a promising rugby path until a devastating neck injury during a Six Nations match against Wales in 2010 forced him to hang up his boots at just 24. The horrific injury was so severe that it nearly led to paralysis or worse!
After months of recovery, Thom shifted gears from the rugby pitch to the track, trying his hand at sprinting. But there was more to his story! Before rugby, Thom was already carving out a niche in the entertainment world with his band Twen2y4Se7en, sharing stages with big names like Westlife. After retirement, he reignited his passion for music and entertainment, even shaking things up on Strictly Come Dancing in 2014 and joining Bear Grylls on Celebrity Island in 2016.
But the real twist? His appearance on 2019’s The X Factor: Celebrity! While showing off his vocal chops, Thom met the fabulously talented Nicole Scherzinger. Sparks flew, and love blossomed! The couple announced their relationship the following January, and Thom popped the question in June 2023 on a romantic getaway in Portugal. ❤️
