Just as they were about to embark on their trip, South Wales Police swooped in, turning their dream holiday into an unplanned stay at Swansea Central police station. The duo allegedly had quite the stash with them, including a large amount of imported cannabis.

Inspector Ryan Davies praised his team for their hard work, explaining, “This arrest was weeks in the making and intelligence-led. Despite their bags being packed, these two won’t be seeing the tulips and canals of Amsterdam anytime soon.” 🌷

A 36-year-old man has been charged with possession with the intent to supply Class B drugs and carrying an offensive weapon. His 20-year-old sidekick is currently out on bail pending further inquiries. The police also seized prescription drugs, an offensive weapon, a Suron bike, and plenty of cash.

Inspector Davies added, “Tackling organised crime is a priority for us, and we won’t stop hunting down criminals to keep our communities safe.”
