After hanging up his boots three years ago, Bale dived into the world of punditry with TNT Sports. But that’s not all he’s got up his sleeve. He’s got his eyes set on club ownership!
This summer, Bale joined a group trying to buy Cardiff City from Vincent Tan. Though Tan wasn’t interested, Bale’s appetite for club investment hasn’t faded a bit. Our former Real Madrid and Spurs icon shared, “I knew football wasn’t going to last forever. I’m loving the time with my family and being a dad, but if something comes up with a football club, count me in!”
With a dazzling career boasting 111 international caps, it’s no wonder Bale sees potential in Cardiff City. He called it out, saying, “Cardiff’s a one-city club with massive potential.” Though the club’s chairman, Mehmet Dalman, dismissed any talk of a sale as “fiction,” Bale’s interest highlights a vision for taking the club back to its glory days.
