🌧️ Unbelievable Generosity in Swansea! 🌟

When torrential rain hit Swansea, Nigel and his father Ian Davies were forced from their home by flash floods. The scenes were unimaginable, with water so high that 80-year-old Ian, who is bedbound, had to be rescued by boat alongside his son Nigel. Their home, filled with cherished family memories, was left devastated by the waters. 💔

But as the floodwaters rose, so did a wave of community spirit! 👐 Friends of Nigel, meeting him through their shared love for Swansea City, launched a fundraising campaign to help the family rebuild. What left everyone speechless was when Swansea City Football Club’s co-owner, Brett Cravatt, made an incredible £1,000 donation to the cause. 🏆

Support from the club and fans has seen donations skyrocket to over £4,000! While Nigel is overwhelmed with gratitude, he’s also a bit bashful about the attention. “Massively grateful,” he says, “though it makes me feel awkward, it shows the heart of the people steering the club.”
Sending a huge shout-out to all who’ve rallied around and shown that true community spirit is alive and well in Swansea. Let’s keep the support going for Ian, Nigel, and everyone affected by the floods! ❤️
