Heartbreaking News from Cardiff: Our hearts go out to the family and friends of Lili Howells, a vibrant 16-year-old who tragically passed away after a sudden and unexpected health crisis. Lili, a beloved student of Radyr Comprehensive School, was full of life, laughter, and love. She was adored as a daughter, sister, auntie, and girlfriend, leaving behind cherished memories for all who knew her.

In the moments before the tragedy, Lili was laughing and joking in her bedroom, completely unaware of the bleed on her brain that would soon take her away. Despite a brave fight, she sadly passed away on January 30th, after doctors determined her brain stem had died following two surgeries.

Lili’s love for horses was profound, with her horse, Robin, holding a special place in her heart. She was known for her eagerness to help others, and now, her parents have made the courageous choice to donate her organs, granting the gift of life to critically ill children in need.

Family friend Leah Wilson is raising funds to cover Lili’s funeral costs, hoping to ease the burden on her grieving parents and give Lili the heartfelt farewell she deserves, complete with a horse and cart to honour her passion.
Leah shared, “Lili was deeply loved by everyone around her. Thank you for being the best friend and for loving our girls. We will love you forever.”
If you wish to contribute and support Lili’s family during this heartbreaking time, donations are welcomed and appreciated. Let’s come together to remember Lili’s beautiful spirit and support her family in their moment of need.
Rest in peace, Lili. 🕊️
