In a heart-wrenching twist of fate, a family from Middlesbrough is grappling with unimaginable sorrow after the sudden loss of a beloved father during his son’s funeral. Norman “Nosha” White, 61, tragically collapsed, reportedly from a heart attack, as his son David Beilicki’s coffin was being carried into St Bede’s Chapel.

David, 41, had faced his share of struggles with addiction but was turning a corner, working towards a brighter future. Sadly, he was found unresponsive on a family member’s sofa, the same date marking a decade since his memorial service held for his stillborn twins, Karson and Deacon.

His sister, Chantelle, describes the tragic events as straight out of a film, finding it hard to process such heartbreak happening all at once. “It’s utterly surreal,” she shares. On the day of the funeral, Chantelle looked for her father only to find he’d collapsed outside the chapel. Despite rushed efforts to save him, Norman, a father to seven, passed away, leaving the family in shock.
Norman, known for his passion for boxing, was a cherished member of the community. Chantelle remembers him as a private yet lovable character, saying, “He was my hero.” She believes that her father’s heart simply couldn’t endure the profound grief surrounding them.
David will be deeply missed by his family, including his children, Ethan and young Jaxon. Chantelle notes, “He had a heart as big as the ocean,” echoing the deep love the family holds for him. As they prepare for Norman’s funeral, they are grateful to Rose Funerals for their remarkable support during those trying moments.
The family is left grappling with the loss, finding solace in the countless memories they shared. Norman’s funeral is set to take place on September 18, where they will bid farewell to a man who will remain forever cherished in their hearts.
