💔 Heartbreak in South Manchester: A Final Farewell to Alfie Moran 💔

Devastating news as we share the tragic passing of 16-year-old Alfie Moran, a beloved son and friend, who was tragically lost to a collision on Kingsway in Burnage earlier this month. Described by his mum, Shelley, as a “special boy with the biggest heart,” Alfie was struck while crossing the road and sadly succumbed to his injuries.

📅 The accident happened around 6:40 pm on January 2nd involving a Seat Ibiza. The driver has been arrested but is currently out on bail as investigations continue.
Shelley has shared a heartwrenching tribute, revealing how Alfie’s loving nature left a lasting impact on everyone he met. “My Alfie boy was always our special boy with the biggest heart. Everyone who knew him would always tell me that I had the best boy. I will forever be lost without him,” she expressed with unimaginable grief.
In response to this tragedy, a family member set up a fundraising appeal to support Alfie’s family with the overwhelming task of organising his funeral. Campaign organiser Mario Conway is calling for support, emphasising that no parent should endure such a loss, and asking the community to rally together to give Alfie the send-off he deserves. “Let’s do him proud,” Mario urged.
Alfie was passionate about gaming and motorbikes, even beginning to save for his first. His dreams cut tragically short, his family remains in disbelief over the loss of their cherished son and brother.
🕊️ Join the community in honouring Alfie and helping his family through this unimaginable time. Your support and generous contributions can make all the difference as we say goodbye to a young soul taken far too soon.
Families shouldn’t have to face this heartbreak alone, and together, we can support each other in keeping Alfie’s memory alive. 💫💙
