According to affected customers, goods worth over £13,000 have vanished into thin air. Not only did many lose treasures that can’t ever be replaced, but they also faced additional woes as rain poured through newly cut openings, ruining what was left. ☔

Pictures and videos from the scene reveal gaping holes in the back of several containers, with personal effects strewn into the adjacent field. The metallic fencing meant to protect these items appears severely damaged. 📸

Despite an email sent out by Pink Storage on January 26 regarding a “security incident,” many clients only discovered this distressing news through social media or way too late in their spam folders. One customer, Richard, didn’t find out until a fellow user posted about it online. He claims up to 50 containers may have been targeted.

Pink Storage is taking steps to help those affected, promising to resolve matters swiftly. They’ve settled a couple of claims and are working on others, introducing enhanced security measures too. Yet, no arrests have been made, as the investigation continues. 🔍

To make matters worse, the site’s CCTV wasn’t operating because police had taken the equipment for a separate issue. We’ll keep you updated as more unfolds.

If you’ve been affected, make sure to reach out to South Wales Police with any details. Let’s stand together in support of our community. 💪
