🚁 Dramatic Rescue on the Welsh Coast! 🚁

A climber has been airlifted to hospital after a heart-stopping incident on the beautiful yet rugged Little Orme in Llandudno. During what started as an adventurous day, things took a turn when the climber took a fall, prompting an impressive emergency response.

Both the Wales Air Ambulance and the Coastguard helicopter were swiftly dispatched, with the Coastguard performing a daring winch rescue off the cliff. Eyewitness Mike Parry commended the effort, noting it was a “huge job to coordinate” but a “good job by all the emergency agencies involved.”

The climber was taken to Ysbyty Gwynedd in Bangor for further treatment, but the swift action of all those involved undoubtedly made a crucial difference. As the helicopters flew back to their bases, the sense of relief was palpable along the coast.
Kudos to the courageous teams who ensured a safe rescue! Stay safe and always prepare thoroughly before venturing out on the cliffs. 🧗♂️💪
