After over 25 fantastic years, Yesteryears, the cherished toy shop on Conwy’s High Street, is bidding farewell. Since its opening in 2000, this magical spot has excited and delighted countless children and families. Founded by Georgina and Mike Pattinson, it has been the ultimate destination for birthday surprises, holiday gifts, and window shopping wonder!
Zoe Toffrey, who took the helm and carried on the joyful legacy, announced with a heavy heart that Yesteryears will close in January. Due to uncertainty about the shop’s future location, Zoe shared, “With 2026 just around the corner, it feels like the right time to let everyone know that we are sadly having to close our doors in January.”
Zoe expressed her gratitude for the support and fond memories gained over her 14 years at Yesteryears, stating, “From a regular Saturday girl to the owner, it’s been quite the journey!” Her heartfelt message thanked the dedicated staff, cherished friends, and loyal customers who’ve made every day a joy.
Despite the sad news, Zoe is embracing this new chapter, motivated by the recent birth of her daughter to explore fresh dreams and possibilities.
