ππ¨ Sad day in Llandudno as the historic Marlborough Hotel closes its doors due to rising costs and a wave of cancellations. This beloved seafront spot, with its rich history spanning over a century, has been a cherished part of the community. π

Jean Murphy, who bought the hotel with her husband John back in 2007, shared the heartbreaking decision with staff last Friday. π “This isn’t just the end of a business; it’s the end of a lifetime of memories,” Jean expressed. “It’s the people who made this place special.”

Known for its warm hospitality and dedicated staff, many of whom have been there for decades, the Marlborough Hotel was more than just a building. It was a home away from home for both guests and employees. π β€οΈ Jean added, “Our team has poured their hearts into making everyone feel welcomed and cherished, and I’ll forever be grateful for their kindness and loyalty.”
To everyone who has supported the Marlborough Hotelβthank you. Your love and loyalty meant everything. While the doors may be closing, the memories will live on in our hearts. ππ¬
The hotel will remain closed as its future is carefully considered. Thank you for being part of its incredible story. πβ¨
