19-year-old Tristan Wilson from Ebbw Vale thought he could flaunt his lifestyle on Snapchat without any consequences. Posting flashy images of cocaine, bundles of cash, and even himself was his downfall. The police managed to connect him to these activities, thanks to a distinctive scorpion tattoo on his right hand that appeared in his photos.
A raid led to the seizure of Wilson’s phone, uncovering text messages and images that confirmed his involvement in dealing cocaine. At a hearing in Cardiff Crown Court, he pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 28 months in prison for drug-related charges and an earlier affray in May 2023.
Inspector Laura Paget praised the solid evidence gathered against Wilson, which left him no choice but to admit his crimes.
