Big changes are coming to the way you book your driving test from March 2026. The DVLA is rolling out important new rules that you’ll need to know about. So, if you’re planning to hit the road, here’s the scoop:
🔹 **Who can book**: Starting in March, only YOU can book your test, not your instructor. This means you’ll need to be proactive about planning!
🔹 **Managing your test**: After this date, the power’s in your hands—not your instructor’s. Keep track of your bookings and changes yourself.
🔹 **Limited changes**: You used to be able to make up to six changes to your test date. Now, you can only make two. Be sure you’re ready when you book, and save those changes for emergencies!
🔹 **Test centre rules**: You’ll only be able to change your test location to nearby centres. No more cross-country test adventures!
