Near-gale force winds could sweep across most of Wales, bringing heavy rains that may cause some disruption. Expect possible travel delays across road, rail, air, and ferry transport. 🌬️⛴️
These gusty conditions could see winds reaching 50-60 mph, possibly even hitting 70-80 mph in certain coastal and hilly spots. Natural Resources Wales isn’t taking any chances either, with flood alerts in place along much of the Welsh coastline. Areas like Swansea Bay, the Gower, Pembrokeshire, and the Llyn Peninsula are all on high alert, especially for flooding in low-lying regions. 🌊
While this stormy spell is predicted to last through Monday, better days might just be around the corner. Things are set to calm down by Tuesday, with brighter skies and less wind on the horizon. Temperatures, however, will remain a tad on the cooler side, sticking around average or slightly below.
