Tragic news from Barry: An inquest has revealed that steroid use was a factor in the untimely death of 26-year-old Bodhi Burgess King. A dedicated blacksmith from Bridgend, Bodhi had been using steroids and hormones to enhance his weight training regime. Sadly, it all took a catastrophic turn when Bodhi suffered a seizure in his bedroom. Despite heroic efforts from his partner, who performed CPR until paramedics arrived, Bodhi passed away shortly after.

The coroner’s report highlighted that Bodhi had an enlarged heart, a condition known as cardiomegaly, which was determined to be a natural cause of death, with steroid use being a significant contributing factor.
This heart-rending story serves as a sobering reminder of the potential dangers of steroid use, especially for those trying to boost their performance in the gym. Our thoughts are with Bodhi’s loved ones during this difficult time. Stay informed and safe, folks!
