The well-loved grey gelding, under trainer Ben Pauling, is turning heads after progressing from the bumpers to hurdles. With jockey Ben Jones at the reins, The Hawkstonian managed to hold off competition and snagged a victory by three-quarters of a length. 🏇
Though Clarkson’s adventure in horse racing might have started as a modest £60 share for many syndicate members, it’s certainly paying off big time. Ed Seyfried from Old Gold Racing, who oversees the syndicate, savoured the sweet taste of success: “Standing in the wet and the mud at Ffos Las was all worth it in the end!” 🌧️
