Throwback to when the fabulous Sophie Ellis-Bextor toured with the Stereophonics as a fresh-faced 18-year-old! π€π Sophie, known for her hit “Murder on the Dancefloor,” recently dished on her early days with the Welsh rock legends during a BBC Radio 2 chat.

The young singer admitted feeling a bit daunted by the massive presence of the ‘Phonics, especially since her band, Theaudience, often played to smaller crowds during the NME Brat Bus Tour. However, a simple yet heartwarming gesture from frontman Kelly Jones changed everything. Despite being surrounded by a sea of blokes, Sophie felt welcomed when Kelly started beaming a big smile at her each time they passed on tour.

It seems that little gesture made all the difference for Sophie, who fondly recalls these memories from her early career days. It’s a sweet reminder of how small acts of kindness can have a big impact! π

Fast forward to now, the Stereophonics continue to thrill fans. This July, they rocked Cardiff’s Principality Stadium with two sensational shows, filled with their classic hits. Having achieved numerous chart-topping albums and singles, the band remains a powerhouse in the music scene. πΆπ₯
