Abby wanted to create jewellery that’s high-quality and free from the usual plastic tat, so she went the extra mile to make matching necklaces and bracelets that both kiddos and grown-ups would adore. Plus, each piece comes with a lovely plantable wildflower seed heart, perfect for mum and child moments while helping the environment!
Aria & Avery isn’t just any business—it’s now a national sensation! This month alone, Abby snagged three major accolades: being named a Theo Paphitis Small Business Sunday winner, a finalist for the ‘Best Family Business’ at The Small Business Awards 2025, and joining the Buy Women Built programme. Abby says it’s “absolutely surreal.”
Balancing her role as a biological and foster mum, Abby has crafted a flexible work life allowing her to do the school run and work during baby naps, all while avoiding expensive childcare. Her typical day now involves creative design sessions between playtime and school pick-ups.
With a background in accessories design, Abby hated the lack of quality jewellery options for her daughter. She took matters into her own hands, crafting pieces that celebrate love and connection—all made sustainably right here in Wales! Her determination and creative vision have helped her push through challenges, inspiring her to believe in the growth of her business every day.
