The President of the Adjudication Panel for Wales led the case tribunal at Haverfordwest County Court, finding the councillor’s behaviour amounted to bullying and/or harassment, bringing his office into disrepute. Despite being notified of the allegations last March, Devauden failed to comply with investigation requests.

The tribunal’s unanimous decision means Councillor Devauden cannot serve in any councillor capacity for any authority for four years. Meanwhile, Neyland Town Council now awaits a scheduled hearing for former member Brian Rothero, who’s facing similar allegations related to respect and conduct.

This significant verdict sends a clear message about the importance of respectful communication and conduct within public office. What do you think about this decision? Share your thoughts below! 🗣️
