💔 Remembering Alex James Edwards 💔

It’s been a year since the tragic loss of 22-year-old Alex James Edwards, a young man with a warm and gentle soul, who was involved in a fatal collision last year. His family recently shared a heartfelt picture of him, capturing the vibrant spirit and warmth he brought to everyone around him.

On that fateful day, Alex was riding his black Kawasaki motorcycle on the B4393 near Llandrinio when the accident occurred with a white Vauxhall van. Now, as the anniversary of his passing draws near, we remember the beautiful life of this apprentice engineer from Guilsfield, who was known for his kind-hearted nature.
Alex’s family describes him as someone who left a lasting impression on everyone he met. He was dearly cherished by his mum Bryony, dad Steve, his sister Katherine, and his loving girlfriend Macy, as well as a wide circle of family and friends who miss him beyond words.
The legal proceedings regarding the incident are ongoing, with 53-year-old Barry Phillips from Llanymynech set to appear in court next month, facing charges of causing Alex’s death by dangerous driving.
As we reflect on this heartbreaking loss, let’s hold onto the joyful memories and the legacy Alex leaves behind. Our thoughts are with his family and friends during this difficult time.
Rest in peace, Alex. You are forever missed. 💫
