Officers rushed to the scene on North Street following a disturbance, and a 42-year-old local man was quickly arrested. His charges? Non-fatal strangulation, assault, criminal damage, and having an offensive weapon—yep, that machete!
It all went down around 8pm on Sunday, with police confirming the man is still in custody. A South Wales Police spokesperson mentioned they received the call at 8:40pm, leading them to the arrest of the man in question.
