🚨 Big bust, small fine! Dylan Davies, 24, got caught with a whopping £15,000 worth of crack and cocaine in Merthyr Tydfil, but it only cost him £300! Police raided his house on a June day, finding bags of the illicit substances and some scales with powder residue. Talk about a stash!

Though Davies claimed the drugs were for “personal use,” he also had a past to explain. With seven previous convictions, including drug offences and assaulting emergency workers, he’s no stranger to the courtroom.

The haul included 7g of crack cocaine and a hefty amount of cocaine worth thousands. Despite making over £3,000 through these shady dealings, his only available assets were £300. Cardiff Crown Court ruled that’s all he had to pay, or face an extra week in jail.
Davies’ defence argued he came from a tough background, with drugs and police raids being a regular feature of his upbringing. As he serves a 44-month sentence, he dreams of reuniting with his daughter and hopes for a fresh start, aiming for a job in railway engineering. Life sure threw him some curveballs, but it’s all about the choices, right?
