Crimestoppers is offering a £20,000 reward for any vital information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the brutal assault on Leon James Adams in Cardiff back in 2002. Leon, just 24 at the time, was attacked and left for dead after leaving The Cottage pub on St Mary Street. The motive is believed to have been robbery, as the cash he had was never recovered.

On February 14, 2002, police discovered Leon unconscious at Grangetown railway station with severe head injuries. Tragically, despite regaining consciousness after two years in a coma, Leon became quadriplegic and struggled with communication for the rest of his life. He passed away on Boxing Day 2024, aged 47.
