🚨 Major Traffic Alert on the A55! 🚨


Earlier today, a serious crash on the A55 in Flintshire saw an air ambulance land at the scene, leading to significant delays in both directions. Four individuals have been hospitalised, with one in a “serious” condition following the incident between junctions 32 Holywell and 33 Northop.
Emergency services, including police, paramedics, fire crews, and an air ambulance, were swiftly on the scene. The chaos continued as a second multi-vehicle collision occurred within the queues caused by the initial incident.

🕒 The air ambulance was called around 11:13 am and quickly transported critical care experts to the site.
🚑 Both emergency ambulances and road conveyances were utilised to take the injured to hospital.
🚓 North Wales Police, alongside the Fire and Rescue Services, managed the scene, ensuring one lane of the A55 was closed for recovery.
🕜 The road was fully reopened by approximately 1:30 pm.
