🌨️🚨 **Weekend Weather Alert for Wales!** 🚨🌨️

Brace yourselves, folks! The Met Office has issued a 17-hour yellow warning for icy conditions across the whole of Wales. Winter is definitely making its presence felt! ❄️

Starting from 5pm this Friday until 10am on Saturday, we’re in for a chilly spell with dropping temperatures. After weeks of rain, the mercury’s plummeting, bringing brighter but wintry conditions. Expect sleet and maybe some snow—especially across higher grounds.

**What to Watch Out For:**
– **Ice, Ice, Baby:** As temperatures drop below freezing, untreated roads and pavements could be icy. Be cautious—minor slips could cause major snags to your weekend plans.
– **Travel Tips:** If you’re heading out on foot or by car, aim for the main roads and paths that have likely been treated. And don’t forget—set your alarm a little earlier to avoid rushing!
Affected areas include Blaenau Gwent, Cardiff, Swansea, and nearly everywhere in-between. So, whether you’re in Rhondda Cynon Taf or Powys, do take care!
Additionally, similar warnings are in place for parts of Scotland and northern England, so it’s a wintry end to the week for many.
Stay safe, keep warm, and enjoy the cosy side of winter! 🧣☕
