Exciting news for Morrisons shoppers! The supermarket is making a big change in nine stores across the UK. They’re teaming up with SpotlessWater to introduce 24/7 self-service pure water stations. Perfect for window cleaners, solar panel cleaners, and vehicle detailers, these ultra-pure water stations will soon be available round-the-clock.
The first ones have already popped up in Woking, Shrewsbury, and Lichfield, and by early 2026, more are on the way to Stratford, Whitley Bay, Cardiff, and beyond. This partnership brings a convenient and eco-friendly service to the community, letting customers access high-quality water any time they need it.
Tim Morris, CEO of SpotlessWater, is thrilled about this collaboration, highlighting its convenience and sustainability. He called it a “win-win” and expressed excitement over more future partnerships. Meanwhile, Jason Mallinson from Morrisons sees this move as a great way to support local professionals, offering even more reasons to choose Morrisons.
Despite this good news, Morrisons is also set to close some of its in-store services, including cafes and meat and fish counters, marking a shift in their focus and offerings. While these changes mean some loss of jobs, the new water stations are a step towards innovative and sustainable shopping solutions.
