📢 Heartbreaking journey of a mum’s fight against cancer 💔

Meet Barbara, a 34-year-old mum from Dorset, whose world turned upside down after a doctor’s oversight. Originally told the lump in her breast was a mere blocked duct due to breastfeeding, Barbara’s persistence eventually led to a shocking diagnosis: grade 3 triple-negative breast cancer. 😔

It all started after the birth of her daughter, Canada-Rose. The lump seemed harmless at first—a complication of breastfeeding, they said. Yet, it kept returning, soon causing her great discomfort. It wasn’t until October 2022, after several painful drains, that the truth emerged. 🌿🔍
By then, it was a harsh reality check: the cancer had turned aggressive and spread, eventually reaching her brain with 13 tumours. Despite multiple chemotherapy, radiotherapy sessions, and a double mastectomy, she’s been told she has just six months to live. 🏥
Throughout this battle, Barbara’s been fueled by the love for her children, Canada-Rose, now three, and Hudson, four. Her story sheds light on the emotional turmoil of parenting while fighting cancer. Hudson, who finds comfort in routine due to autism, faced overwhelming changes, and Canada-Rose missed bonding moments with her mum. 💞👶
But Barbara remains resilient. She calls for more treatments for pregnant women with hormonal changes similar to menopause, which could help in early detection. The fight she’s in isn’t just for herself, but also for awareness and change. 🎗
A GoFundMe has been set in motion to help with her expenses. As Barbara prioritises her family, she urges everyone to monitor their health diligently, especially expectant mothers. 🌷✨
Join us in supporting her courageous fight. Her journey is a testament to the strength found in motherhood and the urgent need for better healthcare solutions. 💪
