On that fateful night in March 2024, Jack was last seen as he left a party to head home. But after being caught on CCTV near Brunel Lock Way and later near Hotwells, he seemed to have vanished. His final phone location was in the Granby Hill area, but the device was never recovered.

Jack’s parents, Catherine and Alan, along with his brother Ben, are living every parent’s nightmare. Despite raising over ÂŁ59,000 and offering a ÂŁ100,000 reward for any information leading to Jack’s return, the family still feels no closer to finding him. Catherine describes this difficult time as “the world carrying on around us, but for me, my world has pretty much stopped.”

Frustration with the investigation remains high. The family has filed a complaint about how things were handled by Avon and Somerset Police, including a major CCTV oversight and a delay in adding Jack to the Missing People’s Register. Despite extensive efforts, including searches and reviewing digital data, the police have yet to find any trace of Jack.

Jack was at a promising stage in life, excelling at university and with plans for a bright future. His friends describe him as the “kindest guy in the world,” always making time for those he cared about. His absence leaves a huge void in their lives.

Although still seeking answers and justice, Catherine vows to keep Jack’s story alive, emphasising their determination not to let his case fade from public memory. “We have to keep this going because I know if we don’t, it’ll all disappear.”
