A dramatic afternoon unfolded on Ynysybwl Road, near Pontypridd, as emergency services rushed to the scene of a serious crash involving a bus and a car. The incident occurred around 1.40pm on Tuesday, bringing local traffic to a halt.
Eyewitnesses reported multiple ambulances on-site, as “advanced critical care” was administered by the Wales Air Ambulance crew. Fortunately, all five individuals taken to hospital are not thought to have life-threatening or life-changing injuries.
A police spokesperson confirmed that a woman has been reported for driving without due care and attention. The swift response included five emergency ambulances, support teams from Hazardous Area Response, and more.
