**Mum Undergoes £500 Intimate Surgery in Bid to Overcome Decade of Insecurity**
A mother from Milton Keynes has spoken openly about the personal struggles that led her to invest £500 in an intimate procedure abroad, following years of embarrassment about her body. Brooke James, 28, revealed that her discomfort with the appearance of her labia left her feeling too self-conscious to be fully at ease during intimate moments, both with romantic partners and even during beauty treatments such as waxing.
Brooke’s feelings of insecurity came to the fore after the end of a long-term relationship two years ago. She shared that prior to this breakup, she had not spent much time worrying about her body. She described the procedure as straightforward and far less daunting than she had anticipated. “I thought I’d go and see some tulips and get my lips taken off – it was a two-in-one situation,” Brooke joked about her trip. “I didn’t feel anything during the surgery thanks to the numbing cream, and the recovery has been amazing. There was no pain, and it was all over in 30 minutes.”
The outcome, Brooke said, has been transformative for her self-esteem. “Now, I have a neat little line – it’s exactly what I wanted,” she shared.
