The couple, hailing from Glasgow, were enjoying a relaxing holiday. Michele’s personal items were left behind, and despite an initial delay in the search, her remains were discovered on a nearby private island, Fidonisi, about a month later. 🏖️
Chris shared his grief and frustration about the slow response from the harbour police, saying they initially speculated she had walked off with someone. “They took ages to start the search and dismissed my concerns,” he revealed. “It’s been devastating.”

Michele, remembered fondly by her loved ones, had battled with anxiety and depression. Despite previous challenges, she appeared happy before this tragic day, sharing plans with Chris for a relaxing afternoon after a swim. 🌊
