Exciting news for fans of Olympic legend Rebecca Adlington! The swimming champion has announced she is expecting a baby, calling it a ‘miracle’ after facing the heartbreak of losing her daughter in 2023. Rebecca, who bravely opened up about her painful experiences of miscarriages, shared on social media that the past 19 months have been an emotional rollercoaster as she and her husband, Andy Parsons, tried for a baby. She expressed gratitude for the wonderful support received from the NHS Rainbow Team.

Rebecca reflected on their journey, admitting it was a tough decision to share their pregnancy news, but ultimately, she wanted to remain open and empathetic to others facing similar challenges. With admirable strength, she discussed the heart-wrenching birth of her daughter Harper, who was stillborn at five months. Despite the sorrow, Rebecca cherishes having seen Harper, finding comfort in the memory.
Rebecca and Andy are already proud parents to two-year-old Albie, and Rebecca also has Summer, eight, from her previous marriage. While they are taking each day slowly with their new pregnancy, the couple is cautiously overjoyed, keeping in mind the silent struggles many encounter.

A huge congratulations to Rebecca and her family! Let’s send them lots of love and positivity during this precious time. 🌈❤️
