Activists have made headlines again, with a group pleading not guilty to causing massive damage at a factory in Kent! Allegedly, several individuals filmed themselves in a dramatic break-in at Instro Precision, Sandwich, back in June 2024. Reports suggest they threw stock to the ground and smashed up computers with a crowbar. 🤯

Nine defendants faced the Old Bailey, where serious charges like criminal damage, aggravated burglary, and violent disorder were brought against them. Eight of them pleaded not guilty, including:

– Nasser Akhtar, Crystal Palace
– Elliot Wilson, Liverpool
– Maximillian Dixon, Brockley, south-east London
– Nirad Abrol, Birmingham
– Seirol Davies, Plymouth
– Xavi Davies, Binfield, Berkshire
– Eoin O’Meara, Bristol
– Hannah Davidson, Edinburgh
Julija Brigadirova from Manchester had not entered pleas yet. 🏛️
The group is accused of over £1 million in damages, using a crowbar to wreak havoc. The charges extend to claims of trespassing with intent to cause damage and allegedly threatening violence. The eight-week trial is set to commence on 5th October 2026.
