😡 Timperley residents are fuming over missed green bin collections! Despite shelling out an extra £45 for service, bins haven’t been emptied for weeks, leaving food to rot and maggots to invade. Can you imagine the stench? 🤢
Glenys Byrne, 68, can’t hide her anger. “For four weeks, nothing’s been done. I contacted the council but only received an automated response. It’s like shouting into the void!” Her neighbour, Jackie Doyle, agrees. “We pay extra, yet our bins sit there full. What’s happening to our money?”
The council blames roadworks and parked cars for blocking collection trucks, but residents aren’t buying it. Blue and black bin collections went on like clockwork! 🚛💨
Councillor Will Frass is on the case, demanding refunds for his patch. “If residents have paid for a service they’re not getting, the least the council can do is give their money back!”
Trafford Council apologises for the inconvenience and promises timely returns to clear out those green bins. Still, no sign of refunds. 🏡💼🌱
