🚨 Breaking News 🚨

Ian Watkins, the disgraced former frontman of Lostprophets, has reportedly died in his cell at HMP Wakefield. The 48-year-old was serving a 29-year sentence for heinous child sex offences. Two men have now been arrested on suspicion of his murder.

West Yorkshire Police received a call reporting a serious assault on a prisoner. Despite medical attention, Watkins was pronounced dead at the scene. The police are investigating and have confirmed the arrests of a 25-year-old man and a 43-year-old man, both now in custody.
Watkins’ dark past saw him jailed in 2013 after pleading guilty to multiple offences, including the attempted rape of a baby. His crimes were described by the judge as “plunging into new depths of depravity,” with Watkins displaying a “complete lack of remorse.”
His notoriety overshadowed his earlier fame from his time with the rock band Lostprophets, where he had once been in the spotlight for his music rather than his criminal actions.
