🎸 “Birthday Bash Turns Sour Due to Awful Fans! 😢”

Michaela Burns, a rock-loving mum from St Helens, planned the perfect birthday surprise for her son, Henry. For his 10th birthday, she got him tickets to see AC/DC live at the Stade de France in Paris as part of their Power Up tour. Talk about a dream present, right?

Henry was over the moon when he found out – the excitement was through the roof! But unfortunately, the gig didn’t go as smoothly as hoped. Despite a smoking ban in place, the atmosphere was filled with smoke due to some fans puffing away, oblivious to the rules or the little ones around them.

For Henry, who’s asthmatic and has had serious respiratory issues before, this was a real buzzkill. He started to show symptoms of an attack and had a panic attack in the stadium’s first aid room. Things got so worrying that he ended up needing treatment in a local hospital. 😧
Michaela expressed concern about fans disregarding the rules, saying, “We didn’t expect so much smoking, especially with bans meant to protect kids.” She’s now on a mission to raise awareness about the importance of keeping ‘non-smoking’ areas truly smoke-free, especially for vulnerable fans with conditions like asthma.
The Stade de France has acknowledged the issue and is working hard to improve. They’re determined to enforce the smoking ban properly to ensure a safe space for all fans. Let’s hope more people get the message and help make concert experiences enjoyable for everyone!
