A deeply sad incident occurred last night on the A487 Caernarfon bypass, claiming the life of a 64-year-old man. Around 8:30 pm, he was struck by a van near Bontnewydd. Despite the swift response of our emergency services, he was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
