With a history of convictions dating back to 2022, losing his waste carrier’s licence clearly wasn’t enough to put Evans off his dodgy dealings. He was caught in Gaer Vale, Newport, with rubbish that traced back to him, leading to further charges of breaching his criminal behaviour order.

Judge Richard Kember has now slapped Evans with a 15-month prison sentence after he pleaded guilty to fresh charges of fly-tipping and breaching his order. Despite claims of ill health and personal challenges, the court decided enough was enough.

Councillor Yvonne Forsey praised the custodial sentence, celebrating the vigilant work of Newportโ€™s waste enforcement team. She declared the outcome as a strong warning to other would-be fly-tippers: the council will hunt you down if you treat the city like your personal dumping ground. ๐Ÿ˜๏ธ๐Ÿ”
