🚨 Major Investigation in Truro 🚨
A heartbreaking incident in Truro, Cornwall has sparked a significant police investigation. A 23-year-old man has sadly died, and a rigorous inquiry is underway to uncover what happened.
Emergency services responded early on 29 October to concerns over a man’s welfare in the Polruan Road area. Sadly, the young man was pronounced dead at the scene. His family has been informed, and our thoughts are with them during this difficult time.
Police have arrested another 23-year-old man from Truro on suspicion of murder, and he’s currently in custody. Investigators are working tirelessly, with a cordon in place for a detailed examination of the site – expect it to be there for a few days.
Detective Superintendent Rachael Bentley assured the public that they’re diving deep into the circumstances and that this appears to be an isolated incident. The two men were believed to know each other, and no further suspects are being sought.
