🔍 **Injustice Won’t Be Hidden in Grooming Gangs Inquiry, Vows PM!**

Keir Starmer is standing firm on the grooming gangs inquiry, making it clear that “injustice will have no place to hide.” After heated discussions at Prime Minister’s Questions, Starmer reassured that the inquiry’s scope remains firmly intact. Despite the resignation of four women from the victims and survivors panel, Starmer has extended an open invitation for their return.

Dame Louise Casey, known for her steadfast approach on similar high-stakes issues, will now be supporting the inquiry. Casey, who previously revealed hurdles in discussing offenders’ ethnicity due to fear of racism accusations, is expected to drive a no-nonsense pursuit of truth.

Concerns had been voiced, particularly by Fiona Goddard and Ellie-Ann Reynolds, who stepped down citing a “toxic environment.” The Home Secretary has, however, affirmed that the inquiry’s scope “will not change,” aiming to address these concerns.
Amidst the controversy, Goddard has called for the resignation of safeguarding minister Jess Phillips over allegations of undermining the panel’s concerns. Yet, Starmer defends Phillips, recognizing her extensive experience in tackling violence against women and girls, and insists that she, alongside Casey, is apt for this significant undertaking.
Former roles of Baroness Casey include tackling homelessness, reviewing the Met Police, and investigating Rotherham Council’s handling of child abuse. Now, she’s set to assist in bringing justice to the forefront once again.
Stay tuned for further developments as the inquiry progresses, and justice seeks to shine through the shadows. đź’ˇ #GroomingInquiry #JusticeWillPrevail #UKPolitics
