🎱 Snooker Star Back on the Baize! 🎱

Bai Langning is making headlines as he returns to the snooker scene! This young snooker talent was banned in December 2022 for his part in a match-fixing scandal that rocked the sport. After confessing early on, his original four-year ban was reduced, and he’s now back in action as of August.

Bai got caught up in controversy at just 20, when charges linked him to fixing a British Open qualifying match against fellow player Zhao Xintong. Thankfully for fans, he’s now free to play on the World Snooker Tour, but his suspension from Chinese competitions remains until 2026.
Among five Chinese players originally suspended, Bai is working hard to rebuild his career outside of China. Meanwhile, notorious players Liang Wenbo and Li Hang face lifetime bans, showing how seriously the sport takes integrity.
Bai, now 23, aims to rediscover his form, having once reached the second round of the British Open in 2021. Although he’s not competing in this year’s event, eyes are on him for future tournaments. Zhao Xintong, however, is competing and continues his redemption story by reaching the main draw, where he prepares for an epic clash with Stuart Bingham.
As snooker fans, we love a comeback story. So here’s wishing Bai all the best in his journey back to the top of the game! 🏆💪 #Snooker #ComebackKid #BaiLangning #SportsIntegrity
