A dramatic scene unfolded at a nuclear site as a man was hospitalised after a vehicle hit protesters. The incident occurred when a Polaris Ranger collided with two individuals near one of Sellafield’s gates just before 9am. The 55-year-old victim was rushed to West Cumberland Hospital with serious injuries, while another man, aged 39, sustained less severe injuries.
