Heartbreaking news from Cardiff University: A family has paid a touching tribute to Curtis, a “beloved son and brother,” who tragically passed away following a fall at the university’s Translational Research Hub. Curtis, just 29, will be dearly missed every single day, his family shared, requesting privacy during this painful time.

On Friday afternoon, emergency services were called to the scene on Maindy Road. Unfortunately, despite their efforts, Curtis was pronounced dead at the scene. The police have stated there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident, and his next of kin have been informed.
Cardiff University has confirmed the serious incident involving a member of their academic staff and is working closely with police and investigators. The university has urged staff and students affected by the incident to seek support from available services.
