The lifeless body of a 67-year-old man was sadly discovered on Friday afternoon, followed by the recovery of a second body in the evening. Now, search teams are tirelessly working to locate one more person who remains missing.
The incredible efforts involve a rescue helicopter, coastguard teams from Withernsea, Hornsea, and Hull, an RNLI inshore lifeboat, an all-weather lifeboat from Bridlington, and Hornsea Inshore Rescue. Despite the fierce three-metre-high waves on Friday, the Hornsea Inshore Rescue team remains committed and ready to assist.
