The incredible efforts involve a rescue helicopter, coastguard teams from Withernsea, Hornsea, and Hull, an RNLI inshore lifeboat, an all-weather lifeboat from Bridlington, and Hornsea Inshore Rescue. Despite the fierce three-metre-high waves on Friday, the Hornsea Inshore Rescue team remains committed and ready to assist.

Police are urging everyone to steer clear of the area to ensure the safety and efficiency of the ongoing operations. While the circumstances surrounding the tragic deaths aren’t seen as suspicious, the community is urged to stay vigilant and safe.
