Tragic News: Woman’s Body Found in Reservoir
Yesterday evening, a woman’s body was tragically recovered from Strinesdale Reservoir in Greater Manchester. The authorities were alerted around 4pm after reports emerged of a woman encountering difficulties in the water.
Emergency services, including the fire brigade’s specialist water team, swiftly responded, cordoning off the area near Waterworks Road, between Oldham and Delph, and launching a major rescue operation. Sadly, despite their efforts, the woman’s body was recovered just after 6:25pm.
Greater Manchester Police have confirmed there are no suspicious circumstances surrounding her death, though further details about the woman and the incident remain undisclosed.
